Legislative Council Complex

The Legislative Council Complex is situated within the Central Government Complex on Legislation-Council Road, 1, in Central, Hong Kong. Designed by architect Rocco Yeung, its concept revolves around the idea of "open doors." Construction cost over HK$4.94 billion and also included the creation of an approximately two-hectare public park. The building features a dual-layer facade with ventilation to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures. Meetings previously took place in the old High Court building until completion of the new complex in 2011.
