King George V Memorial Park (Saiyinpun)

King George V Memorial Park is situated in Sai Ying Pun area; its grounds include the preserved northern facade of an old hospital on Hospital Road. Formerly it housed maternity and neonatal wards which were later moved to another facility. Cancyuk Hospital is notable for Hong Kong's first baby-switching case. The park occupies land where once stood a fort protecting warehouses from pirates. There is also a CACHE trail with information about traces of ancient fortifications.
