Myeongin Temple

Miaoyin Temple is situated in Beijing on Fuchengmennei Dajie street. It is known as former imperial Buddhist monastery Wan'ansi founded in 1279 by Kublai Khan. There is White Pagoda here, restored several times with the last reconstruction in 1996. Inside the temple visitors can see wooden niche cover with inscription about Guanyin's power and copper plaque with empress mother's decree regarding pagoda roof restoration.
