Spaso-Efrosiniev Monastery

Spaso-Eufrosinievsky Monastery in Polotsk - Orthodox monastery associated with Saint Euphrosinia of Polotsk. It features Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church, Krestovozdvizheny Cathedral and Euphrusinia's "warm" church. The monastery is known for its centers of literacy and spiritual education founded by her. After being closed in 1921, monastic life was revived in the late 20th century. It is one of the oldest Orthodox centers in Belarus and an important historical and cultural monument of the region.
