Freedom Square, Polotsk

Freedom Square - the main square of Polotsk's historical center, situated at the start of Francis Skaryna Avenue. It is part of the city's protected area and serves as the beginning point for routes to Sophia Cathedral and Lower Pokrovskaya Street. On its western side previously stood a church and Jesuit college. The architecture of the buildings reflects Polotsk's transition to regular planning of the late 18th century.
