23rd Guards Memorial

The Monument to the 23rd Guardsmen is located in Polotsk on Nizhne-Pokrovskaya Street between houses 34 and 38. It honors heroes who died while holding an important section of the Western Dvina bank during the city's liberation in July 1944. Established in 1975, it is part of the city's route dedicated to military achievements.
