Sofiyskiy Cathedral Architecture History Museum

The Museum of History of Sophia Cathedral is located in the historical center of Polotsk on Zamkovaya Street. Its exhibits include archaeological finds and materials related to the architecture of the cathedral. The museum building is part of the complex of Sophia Cathedral, which after partial destruction in 1710 was reconstructed in the style of Vilnian Baroque in 1738. Visitors learn about the connection between the ancient walls of the cathedral and its current appearance, as well as follow the construction stages of the structure. Also, there is a concert hall for chamber and organ music in the museum.
