Museum of Belarusian Printing

The Belarusian Book Printing Museum is situated in the historical building of the former Bogoyavlensky Monastery at Polotsk, Nizhne-Pokrovskaya Street, 22. It was opened on September 8th, 1990 and occupies an exhibition area of 928 sq.m. More than 2500 exhibits covering the history of books from ancient times to present day can be found here. Visitors can explore displays spread over 15 rooms on two floors where the development of writing and writing tools is explained. The Brotherhood School building housing the museum is an architectural monument of the 18th century.
