Mogilev Military Cemetery

Military cemetery in Mogilev is situated in a park on Lazarenko Street. Here lie soldiers who defended the city in July 1941 and died during its liberation in 1944. Among those buried are members of the 173rd Rifle Division. The central memorial is a composition featuring a soldier with an automatic rifle and a girl. In 1965, a monument was installed at the cemetery. Gravestones bearing the names of the deceased mark the site of military remembrance for the city.
