Old Town Mogilev

The Old Town of Mogilev is situated in its historical center near a high cape where the Dnepr river meets River Dubrovinka. A pedestrian street named Leninskaya passes through the historic core. The architecture includes religious structures, museums and old trading buildings from the 18th to 19th centuries. Historical buildings around Glory Square, which emerged in the 16th century, have also been preserved. Radiating from an old town hall were roads leading to important regional cities such as Shklov, Vilnius, Bykhov and Mstislavl.
