Glory Square Mogilev

Glory Square in Mogilev is situated on a high hill where the Dnepr river meets River Dubrovinka. There are buildings from the 18th to 19th centuries there with views overlooking the river. Previously it was known as Governor's and Soviet Squares. Today it's famous for being the site of the memorial complex "Fighters for Soviet Power". It originated in the first half of the 16th century under the name Trade Square.
