Nikolay Church Mogilev

The Stone Nikolskoy Church in Mogilev, a monument of mogilev baroque, was laid in 1669 and consecrated in 1672. It is the main church of the Holy-Nikolay female monastery built using Belarusian and eastern decorative techniques. A wooden church already existed by 1637. During the Soviet period, church utensils and iconostasis were lost. Currently, the temple is part of the restored monastic ensemble.
