Buinich Field Memorial Complex

Memorial Complex "Buinychi Field" is situated in Buinychi village, Mogilev district. Opened in 1995. Central composition - 27-meter chapel. Here fierce battles took place during summer 1941 while defending Mogilev, where soldiers from 388th rifle regiment and local militiamen fought. In memory of Soviet soldiers' heroism, in 2004 memorial became branch of local museum. Soviet writer Konstantin Simonov bequeathed to scatter his ashes exactly over this site after death.
