Ark of Glory Triumph Arch

The Triumph Arch, also known as Glory Arch, is situated in Lazarenko Sq. on May Day St. in Mogilev. Built in 1780, it originally stood opposite where Josephovsky Cathedral was laid. In 1964, memorial plaques with names of parts of the Red Army who distinguished themselves during the city's liberation were installed. Today it is an 18th-century architectural monument standing separately after the cathedral's loss.
