Nesvizh Castle Tower

The four-tiered square Castle Tower of Nesvizh with a hipped roof was built in the 16th century as part of the defensive structures and has practically retained its appearance over the centuries. It connected the system of city fortifications with the castle complex, serving the functions of observation and fire protection of the approaches to the residence. Today, the tower serves as a belfry for the Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, preserving elements of fortification architecture that combined Belarusian traditions with Gothic and Renaissance features.
