Old Town Nesvizh

Old Nesvizh Town - the historical core of the city dating back to the 14th century. Here in 1586 Magdeburg rights and coat of arms emerged. Regular planning was done by the end of the 16th century with buildings such as town hall, rampart and moat around the square. Since 1513 Nesvizh belonged to Radzivills who made it an important trading and craft center until fires and destruction from Northern Wars. Revival began after the 1720s. During the Middle Ages various crafts guilds operated here.
