Dzietse Lake at Nesvizh

Dwina Lake is situated near Nesvizh and is part of the historical system of ponds and waterworks of the city. It was among the cascades of ponds on Us River including Zamkovy, Bernardinskiy, Devichiy and Albany Ponds. Formerly used for fish farming and played an important role in the defensive system of Nesvizh in the 16th century. Today it is a natural water area surrounded by the historical landscape of the Nesvizh Palace and Park Ensemble.
