Memorial Stone of Maria Dorota Radziwill

In the Old Park of Nesvizh, a memorial stone is installed dedicated to Maria Dorothee de Castellane, who in the 1870s began regular work on creating a landscape park. This stage of park formation began after her visit to Nesvizh in 1865, and the seedlings for them were brought from the Berlin nursery and the Khominka forestry near Kletsk. The monument was erected in 1903 by her husband, Prince Antoni Wilhelm Radziwill. Among tourists, the stone is known as the "wishing stone": it is believed that a wish will come true if you touch it and leave a coin in its crack.
