Minsk Gates

Architectural ensemble "Minsk Gates" is situated on the Pervozvanka Square in Minsk. Executed in the style of Soviet neoclassicism and Stalinist Empire, it consists of two symmetrical towers forming a grand entrance to the city from the direction of the train station. Facades are decorated with emblems of BSSR and decorative elements of Soviet symbolism. The reconstruction project of the square was supervised by architect Boris Rubanenko. The buildings have become an identifiable symbol of post-war Minsk.
