Yanka-Kupala Park

Yanka Kupala Park in Minsk spreads along the banks of the Swisloch River. Here there is a literary museum dedicated to writer Yanka Kupala who lived in this house until it was destroyed during the war. The central alleyway leads from Nezavisimosti Avenue towards the river. There is also a fountain called "Wreath" symbolizing an old tradition of floating wreathes on water. Architect Igor Rudenko designed the park situated near Victory Square and the city's central area.
