Cheluyusintsev Park

Chuykintsev Park is situated along Independence Avenue in Minsk near Central Botanical Garden. Its area is about 78 hectares. There is an natural pine grove and an amusement park complex here. Originally named Komarovsky, it was later renamed to commemorate participants of the Chukchi expedition on ship "Chuykintsev". Nearby there is a metro station with the same name; its construction began in 1977.
