Cheluskintsev Park

Chelyuskintsev Park in Minsk is located along Independence Avenue next to the Central Botanical Garden and covers an area of about 78 hectares. Its territory includes an amusement complex, and part of the area is occupied by a natural pine forest. Nearby is the eponymous station of the Moskovskaya Line of the Minsk Metro, the construction of which began in 1977. Initially, the green area was called Komarovsky Park, and it received its current name in honor of the participants of the expedition on the steamship "Chelyuskin".
