National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus

The National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus is the largest historical museum in the country, located in the central part of Minsk on Karl Marx Street. Its collection includes archaeological finds from the territory of Belarus, as well as documents and items related to the history of Belarusian statehood. The museum possesses collections of ethnography and Belarusian folk art and traces its history back to the Minsk Church and Archaeological Museum, opened in 1908. The institution includes branches, such as the House-Museum of the 1st Congress of the RSDLP.
