Jan Kaplica National Academic Theatre

The National Academic Theatre named after Yanki Kupala is situated in Minsk on Engels Street, 7. Established in 1920, it bears the name of prominent Belarusian poet Yanki Kupala since 1944. It is the oldest professional dramatic stage in Belarus with national academic status. The building of the theatre constructed at the beginning of the 20th century is an architectural historical monument. The theatre's repertoire features works of Belarusian dramaturgy.
