Svisloch Embankment

The Svisloch Embankment forms the water-green axis of central Minsk and is used for walks and city events. Pedestrian and bicycle paths run along the bank, and in the central part of the river there are promenade platforms connecting the Upper City, Trinity Suburb, and the Island of Courage and Sorrow. In winter, sections turn into ice tracks with skate rentals near the Palace of Sports, and in summer catamarans, boats, SUP surfing, and kayaking are available for rent. Along the way there are recreation areas, including Gorky and Yanka Kupala parks.
