Theater and Music Culture History Museum

The Museum of Theatre and Musical Culture History is situated in Minsk on Music Lane, 5. Established in 1990 and since 2014 it has been a branch of the National Historical Museum. The collection features musical instruments, sheet music manuscripts, posters and stage materials. Among exhibits is an 18th century contrabass from Belarus State Academy of Music. The total collection comprises over 23 thousand items. Exhibition halls showcase musical culture of Belarus from the 10th to the 19th centuries and provide space for temporary exhibitions.
