GUM Minsk

GUM Minsk - the largest post-war department store, situated on Nezavisimosti Avenue, 21. The interior of the building features elements typical of Soviet department stores from mid-20th century. The exterior facade is designed in the style of Soviet neoclassicism. It houses departments with food and industrial goods. The building is part of the city's architectural ensemble with its main entrance facing Nezavisimosti Avenue near Independence Square.
