Yakub Kolasa State Literary and Memorial Museum

The State Literary and Memorial Museum of Yakub Kolas is situated in Minsk on Akademicheskaya Street, 5. The house built in 1952 specifically for the poet has been recognized as an historical and cultural treasure of Belarus. From 1944 to 1956, the family of Kolas lived here. The museum features an exhibition opened in 1959 dedicated to the life, works and public activities of the poet. The collections include documents and memorial items related to Konstanty Mikalajevich Micyk.
