Sports Palace in Minsk

Sports Palace in Minsk is situated on Victory Avenue near Komsomolskoe Lake. Built in 1966, it became a monument of Soviet sports architecture. Matches of the 2014 world hockey championship were held here as well as figure skating competitions and other sports events. The main venue is used for concerts and mass events. The complex is connected to Victory Park and includes walking areas.
