Minsk Sports Palace

The Minsk Sports Palace, opened in 1966, is a monument to Soviet sports architecture of the 1960s and is located on Pobediteley Avenue near Komsomolskoye Lake. The main venue of the complex is intended for hosting hockey matches, figure skating competitions, concerts, and exhibitions. The building is connected to the walking area of Victory Park and was one of the arenas for the 2014 Ice Hockey World Championship.
