Palace of Independence

The Palace of Independence in Minsk is the official residence of Belarus' president. Located on Victory Avenue near the BelExpo exhibition center, it was built from 2011 to 2013 and is used for state negotiations, ceremonies, and meetings. In front of the palace there is a parade square with flagpoles. The architecture of the complex combines monumentality and elements of Belarusian decorative art. Inside there are grand halls for major events.
