Independence Palace

The Independence Palace at 12 Pobediteley Avenue in Minsk is the official residence of the President of the Republic of Belarus. The complex, built in 2011–2013, includes ceremonial halls for international and state events, and a square with flagpoles is located in front of the building. State negotiations, ceremonies, and official meetings take place here. The palace's architecture uses monumental forms and elements of Belarusian decorative art, being part of the modern public-administrative zone next to the "BelExpo" exhibition complex.
