Belarusian State Museum of the History of World War II

The Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War is located in Minsk, on Prospekt Pobediteley, 8. It was founded in 1944 and preserves documents, photographs, weapons and personal belongings of war participants. The exhibition covers the beginning of the war, occupation and liberation of Belarus. The museum features samples of combat equipment on an open-air platform, separate halls dedicated to partisan and underground movements. Scientific, archival and military-patriotic work is conducted.
