Belarusian State Philharmonic

The Belarusian State Philharmonic in Minsk is the main concert institution for academic music in Belarus, located on Independence Avenue near Victory Square. After the 2004–2005 reconstruction, the hall was reduced to approximately 690 seats, and the Grigory Shyrma Small Hall was added to the complex. The Philharmonic hosts international music festivals and concerts by Belarusian and foreign performers, and also conducts educational work with children and youth. The institution includes a symphony orchestra, as well as choral, chamber, and folk performance ensembles.
