Old Castle Grodno

Old Castle in Grodno is situated on Zamkovaya Street. Here traces of ancient city's history were found. After building New Castle it ceased to be rulers' main palace. In the 19th century military and administrative services were housed there. Inside the castle royal chambers and government representations were located. Nowadays the castle hosts exhibits of historical-archaeological museum with fragments of old walls. From observation deck there's a view over Neman River and historic city part.
