Yanka Kupala Monument

Jan Kupala Monument in Grodno features a bronze bust 1.2 meters tall placed on a four-meter concrete pillar. The sculpture was created by Zair Azgur. The bust rests on a console and is adorned with metal engraved verses from the poet. The monument was unveiled in 1964 and stands in front of the main building of Grodno State University. Its installation relates to the renaming of the pedagogical institute after Jan Kupala in 1957. Address: Eliza Ogeshko Street, Grodno.
