Historical District New Light

New Light is an historical district of Grodno formed in late 19th - early 20th century between streets Mickiewicz, Ostrowski and Reymont. It is a coherent segment of city architecture from the turn of two centuries combining architectural styles of historicism, modernism and later urban trends. The area preserves small-scale residential environment with green courtyards and is linked to the history of local intelligentsia and bureaucracy. New Light is an important part of cultural landscape of central Grodno.
