Grodno Jesuit College

The Grodno Jesuit College was founded by King Stephen Bathory of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in 1584. This institution played a key role in developing the educational system of the region, becoming a center for training highly qualified teachers. The college had a high status due to including courses in philosophy and theology in its curriculum, bringing it closer to an academic level. It also established one of the first provincial schools in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The building is located at Soviet Square, 4 in the city of Grodno.
