Grodno Drama Theatre

Grodno Drama Theatre is situated at Mostovoy Street, 35 in Grodno city. Its building towers above the banks of river Neman and features late Soviet modernism traits. The theatre's history dates back to theatrical groups of the 18th-19th centuries. In 2001 it became an academic theatre. Since 1947 it has operated as a regional drama theatre, and since 1950 - as a state regional one. Over its existence the theatre repeatedly renovated its stage and audience areas.
