Vytautas'Fara

Fara Vitauta formerly known as St. Sophia's cathedral situated on Sovetskaya Square in Grodno. This site is associated with Prince Vitautas who founded the temple named after him later. After the fire in 1892 the building was significantly reconstructed giving it features of Orthodox style. King Stephen Batory played an important role in this church's history. Despite restoration plans announced in 2023 the question about reconstruction remains unresolved.
