Vice Administrator's House

The vice administrator's house in Grodno is on Eliza Ożeško Street, previously situated at Tyzenhauz Square, 2. The building features decorative elements such as pilasters, niches and panels, while its volume is crowned with a high tiled roof with a mansard. In the past, it housed the central historical archive of BSSR. At the end of the 18th century, the owner of the house was Mateusz Tadeusz Eysmont, a well-known financier and vice-administrator of the Grodno economy, who received the house as a gift from King Stanisław August.
