Batoriyevka

Batorievka educational institution is situated in Grodno on Stefan Batory Street. Here studied Belarusian poetess Zosia Veras. The complex was connected to the Jesuit church via a passage through which the king could attend services. There were arcades and galleries belonging to the royal complex within the building. After restoration it housed Central Hotel. According to legend, Sigismund III once heard a bell ringing and saw a redcap at night. Palaces in the complex hosted halls for holding seym assemblies.
