Soviet Street Gomel

Sovetskaya Street in Gomel starts from Lenin Square and goes to the city limits, ending in Krasny Oktyabr village. It received its modern name during the Soviet period. During World War II it suffered significant damage; after the war, construction began on four- and five-story residential buildings. Historically, it has been part of the city's central architectural axis.
