Soviet Street

Sovetskaya Street in Gomel starts from Lenin Square and goes to the city limits, ending in Krasnyi Oktyabr' village. During World War II, the street's construction was severely damaged. It received its name during the Soviet period, and in the 1950s reconstruction began with the building of residential buildings up to four to five stories high.
