Nikolay Rumyantsev Monument

Gomel, park opposite Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace

The monument to Nikolay Rumyantsev is located in Gomel park opposite the Rumyantsevs and Paskevichs palace. It was opened in 1996 according to sculptor N.A. Ryzhenkova's project. Rumyantsev, famous owner of homely estate, is depicted on the monument with a plan for city reconstruction showing the future site of Pyotropavlovsky cathedral.
