Karandash Clown Monument

The statue of clown Karandash was installed on the square near Gomel State Circus. It was opened on June 1, 2006. Sculptor Vyacheslav Dolgov created the bronze composition "Karandash and his dog Klaksa". Karandash is depicted together with his faithful friend - dog Klaksa. Mikhail Rumyantsev, who performed under this pseudonym, often appeared on the stage of Gomel circus.
