Kurgan Slavy Memorial Complex

Memorial complex "Heroes' Hill" is located in Gomel's Festival Park. It commemorates the memory of soldiers from the Red Army who fell during World War II. Built in 1967 to mark the 50th anniversary of October, using soil collected from key battlefields. At the foot there is an Eternal Flame and Heroes' Alley, opened in 1974.
