Gomel Regional Drama Theatre

Gomel Regional Drama Theatre is situated on Lenin Square in Gomel city. The building features a main façade with a six-column portico of composite order and a gable roof decorated with elements of classical architecture and sculpture. The theatre began its modern history in 1954 after returning from Mogilev. Inside it also operates Gomel Regional Puppet Theatre founded based on the puppet troupe in 1968. The architectural design was created by Ukrainian architect A. Tarasenko.
