Gomel Palace-and-Park Ensemble

Gomel Palace-and-Park Ensemble is situated at Lenin Square, 4. It is a complex of architectural and historical monuments from the second half of the 18th to mid-19th century associated with the Rumyantsevy and Paskevich families. The central object of the ensemble is the palace surrounded by a park and other structures including St.Pyotr-and-Paul Cathedral and burial chapel. The complex has the status of a republican nature monument and was included in the list of protected objects on May 18, 1953. Compositionally completed by an observation tower and winter garden.
