Lenin Pedestrian Street in Pinsk
Pinsk, Lenina St
Lenin Street in Pinsk is a pedestrian historical street running through the old town parallel to the Pine River. It retains intact late 19th century - early 20th century architecture. Among the architectural monuments are Shmit House, an historically-cultural value of republican significance, facades of Butrimovich Palace and Franciscan Church. At No. 39 there is a memorial plaque commemorating the studies of Chaim Weizmann. The street connects Lenin Square with former suburb Karolin and preserves the atmosphere of ancient Pinsk.
