Belarusian Polesie Museum

The Museum of Belarusian Polesie is situated in Pinsk on Lenina Square, 22. Opened since July 1, 1926, it is dedicated to the history, nature and culture of the Polesie region. Exhibits include ethnographic items, archaeological finds, numismatics and natural specimens. Since 1996, most of the exhibits have been housed in the former Jesuit college. Visitors can see costumes, woodwork, wickerwork and straw products, bird and animal skins from the Polesie marshes and forests.
