Terespol Fortification

Terespol Fortification — part of the external defensive system of Brest Fortress, situated west of the Citadel near the Western Bug River. Elements of the 19th century fortification line have been preserved here. Individual sections can be visited upon prior booking, while thematic tours are organized on Pobedno Island. The fortification was part of the water defenses of the fortress and protected it from Terespol.
