Thirst Sculptural Composition

Sculptural composition "Thirst" is situated in Terespol Fortification of Brest Fortress, which is part of the memorial complex "Brest Fortress-Hero". It was created by Alexander Kibalnikov and symbolizes one of the key difficulties faced by the fortress defenders in 1941—lack of water. The monument is an important element of the memorial ensemble, solemnly opened in 1971.
