Northwest Gates of Brest Fortress

Northwest Gates of Brest Fortress - part of the historical XIX-century fortification system. They have been preserved as one of the original entrance fragments of the fortress and are among five surviving gates. These gates played an important role in defending the fortress in 1941 and connected its internal defenses with the outside world via Grafsky Drive. Today they are situated within the territory of the Brest Fortress Historical-Cultural Complex, forming part of Kobrin's fortifications.
